Amprosid 250mg is an effective broad spectrum oral anticoccidial solution specifically produced to totally destroy and eliminate Eimeria spp (causative agent of coccidiosis).
Amprosid cripples and decapacitates the whole Eimeria life cycle by:
- Paralyzing both the endogenous and exogenous phases of Eimeria spp development.
- Blocking the thiamine transporter of Eimeria spp and making it unavailable which results in disruption of the Eimeria cell metabolism.
- Disrupting sexual and asexual reproductive cycle of Eimeria in already infected birds.
- Inhibiting the development of sporozoites.
Description
Amprosid Edge
- It has a long lasting anticoccidial effect in birds.
- Effective against the most pathogenic form of Eimeria spp.
- Coccidiosis damages the intestinal lining and predisposes birds to development of necrotic enteritis, the use of Amprosid to combat this infection helps to restore damaged intestinal lining to the healthy state and hence eradicates the development of necrotic enteritis (an infection caused by an opportunistic bacteria that thrives on damaged intestinal lining & cause great economical loss in poultry).
- Amprosid being in a liquid form enhances uniform mixing in drinking water and leaves no sediments that can block pipeline.
- Very safe to use.
- It does not exert adverse effect on the reproductive organs during development, consequently no negative effect on egg production during laying.
- Coccidiosis erodes the intestinal villi (finger-like structures that aids absorption in the intestine) causing poor absorption of nutrients, poor FCR & uniformity, With the administration of Amprosid the villi regenerates, hence absorption of nutrients becomes improved resulting in good FCR and eventual uniformity in the flock
